Proverbs 1:1-7 “The Beginning of Wisdom”
Begins with God (Prov. 9:10)
Wisdom begins with God because He is the beginning of everything.
We must bring the truth of God to bear on every aspect of life.
If we begin in the right place, we will have wisdom.
Two Ways
We will either walk in the fear of the Lord or foolishness.
Wisdom is fundamentally theological.
Folly is loud, but wisdom shouts above it.
Biggest Display
All the treasures of wisdom are bound up in Jesus Christ. (Colossians 2:3)
We need to remember the greatness of God's wisdom above all else. (1 Corinthians 1:18-25)
God has clearly laid out His wisdom for us.
